We don't overcomplicate the flavours of dishes - we let the quality and freshness of each dish prepared shout from your plate! There is also a traditional Fish and Chip Shop, located just next door to the main Brentwood Brasserie restaurant.
The Fish and Chip Shop sells everyone's favourites - plaice, code, skate and rock and just as importantly - the most fantastic chips! About Us
Husband and wife team Lamti & Kim Bouchareb own and manage the Brentwood Brasserie in partnership with Terry Brett, Kim's brother. Between them, they have over 50 years experience of providing a warm, friendly, unpretentious dining experience. Lamti manages the kitchen service, Kim and her team provide top class table and drinks service.
"We started this business in 2000, and in 2003 transformed part of our premises into the 52 seat restaurant that it is today. Our business has been a resounding success, thanks to our loyal and regular clientele, who have been enjoying our refreshingly down to earth food. Our Menus
Our speciality is Fish and Seafood which is delivered daily direct from the Quayside. From a simple selection such as cod or dover sole, a decadent lobster, or dressed crab so fresh it could have walked to your table, its all well crafted and presented. For non- fish lovers, we provide succulent steaks, delicious duck, lascivious lamb or salubrious chicken - take a look below!
Our wine list has been selected to complement our menu and we have some reasonably priced, very quaffable bottles starting at £13.50. For those of you celebrating, our house champagne starts at £25.00 a bottle.
For those with a sweet tooth we also have some great home made "to die for" desserts and puddings.

Private Functions
Our Upstairs Dining Room is perfect for a private dinner or celebration. We can comfortably accomodate up to 18 people for private hire. We are also experienced in catering for corporate events so please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Takeaway
This is a Fish and Chip Heaven!
There has been a Fish and Chip shop here since just before the second World War, providing the local community with this Great British Institutional Dish. Our takeaway has everyone's favourites including cod, plaice, rock and skate with the most fantastic chips. Other favourites are saveloys, pies, sausage in batter together with the almighty doner and shish kebabs. We sell a lot of these toward the end of the evening!!
We are open all day, everyday from 11.00am to 11.00pm and 12 noon to 11.00pm on Sundays.

Orders over £50 placed via the phone which are collected will attract a 10% discount.

We are open every Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner as well as on Bank Holidays.
Tuesday to Saturday lunch opening times are 12.00 - 4.00pm last food orders are at 2.30pm
Saturday evening opening times are 6.30 until 12.00 (Last orders 9.30pm)
On Sundays we are open all day from 12.00 noon until 11.00pm last food orders are at 9.30pm
Tuesday to Friday evening open times are from 6.30pm until 11.00 last food orders are 9.30pm
