Brentwood Cricket Club takes the Spirit of Cricket very seriously. We are proud in the way that we play the game, as a club, and we fully agree with the MCC sentiment which states that maintaining to the actual Spirit of cricket, is just as important as adhering to its Laws. Brentwood Cricket Club, one of the original cricket clubs in Essex to be awarded the ECB ClubMark, clearly demonstrated to be fully equipped in every way to look after children and youngsters and to promote cricket to the youth of the local Brentwood community.
To ensure we comply with ClubMark rules and regulations, there is a Child Welfare Officer present at the club and we make sure there are enough qualified cricket coaches and additonal helpers, who are always available to look after the colts at the club.
